The Cantina on the Beach

David and Jacqueline, visitors to Paros from the UK, told us about “The Cantina” on Farangas Beach near Alyki. They met Stephanos, who is from Lefkes, and Elena who told them how they had developed their Cantina over the past three years.

From beneath its attractive palm umbrellas you can view the beautiful setting in a secluded bay and watch the sun sparkling on the sea.

It is run by Stephanos and Elena who are pleased to welcome you every day during the season between 10.00am and 9.00pm. They offer a clean, quiet place to enjoy ice-cold drinks and light snacks such as loukaniko (spicy sausage) and souvlaki, using only local meat from Paros. Look out for their speciality called ‘dakos’ which consists of hagen bread, cheese, tomato, oregano and olive oil.

Ice-cold drinks, tasty snacks, a white sand beach and sparkling sea - it sounds like a winning combination!
