ParosHome Update

by Len Rooks, March 2001
The ParosHome website now has a much simpler layout in order to handle its expanding content. From the opening page, at www.paroshome.com, you can go to either the main site, or jump directly to the pages devoted to local businesses and societies. New from January 2001 is a classified free ads section, where anyone can advertise anything, absolutely free, directly from their own computer. Simple to use, give it a try and tell your friends.

The notice board has been simplified considerably, and is ideal for short messages. If there's something that you want to say that is more than a simple note, then send it (with photos if you like) and we will publish it. Plus there is also a new "interactive calendar" where anyone can post details of forthcoming events - a chance to give a plug to any event on Paros.

Remember that ParosHome offers free pages to any local business or society, just contact us and we will do the rest. For those who already have pages, please remember to update them regularly to keep interest alive! If you want us to set up a newsletter for this purpose, let us know. You can already find up-to-date information about PEGASUS, The International Women’s Group, the Paros Netball Team, the Health Centre Volunteer Team, SWOP, The Aegean Wildlife Centre, and PAWS.
