Xombli - Naoussa

After 20 successful seasons on Paros - we wish a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to "Xombli" !

Xombli is a family-owned craftsman's studio which has been run by Costas and Frosso Gavalas since June 1983. First opened in Piso Livadi, where the store was located for 15 successful seasons, since 1998 it is now situated in the traditional small port of Naoussa. Successfully combining high quality with low prices, they have many loyal customers visiting them every year to buy gifts.

Xombli offers a variety of hand-made products from the island (the family itself manufactures many of these), among them traditional windmills, pottery and ceramics, wooden toys, wind chimes, silver jewellery and many humourous gadgets, providing their customers with plenty of choice.

During the last four years the family's commercial involvement has expanded with two new stores - Boukadoura and ANEY (or Ohne).
The Boukadoura Gallery presents a variety of exclusively Greek handmade artistic collections. This is the place to visit for those who seek a very special and unique gift. You can choose among designer silver jewellery, marble statues, bronze replicas, oil and water-colour paintings, semi-precious stones, pottery, Rakou ceramics and various sculptures. Or you can ask Costas to create your own personal komboloi (worry beads) or key holder from stones and old Greek coins.

ANEY (Ohne) is a fashion shop run by Maria - the youngest child of the family. With a huge variety in styles and sizes, you can find everything here from large sizes in linen dresses and jeans to tiny hand-woven bikinis. Scarves, wraps and fashionable accessories are available for all tastes. This summer Maria particularly recommends the jean-bags which have been specially decorated according to her instructions.

Located in the main market of Naoussa, very close to the old port, all three shops have something new to tempt you each year as well as special end-of-season offers in September.

Open from 10am-2pm and 6-11pm, for further information you can contact the Gavalas family on 02840-53332 or 53334.
