The 5th Paros-Antiparos cross-channel 1,453 metres swim organised by the Antiparos Nautical Club and Antiparos Municipality, took place this year on 7 July with a record total of 238 participants!

Entry Fee 30€ for participating in the first category and 15€ for each additional category.

The draw will take place at the Paros Tennis Club on Saturday 11 August. The champions ceremony will be on Sunday 19 August, followed by a celebration party.
The 2nd 68km race around Paros ending at the Paros Park was held on 10 June 2012 with the participation of 90 riders of various ages from Paros, Antiparos, Syros, Naxos, Athens, and even Taiwan!
Congratulations to the winners in the men’s category: Christos Frantzis (1st), Antonis Skiadas (2nd), Leonidas Stavridis (3rd) and in the women’s category: Maria Pantelaiou (1st), Barbara Pantelaiou (2nd), Ioanna Chamilothori (3rd).
The 1st Antiparos Road Race for Health on 20 May 2012 was an absolute success, wrapping up in an emotion-filled atmosphere both during the awards ceremony and also as we bade farewell to our visitors and guests.
A total of 42 athletes participated in the 24.4km race; the 32 hikers on hand also added a distinct note to the event, completing the entire course to the cheers and applause of onlookers. Some 53 athletes aged three through 70 took part in the 2km fun race. Winner in the men’s category was Zak Simos (1.40.11"), and in the women’s Blondie Vucich (2.04.29").
A basic ingredient for the success of the organisation and the event was the volunteer element, both in terms of human resources and goods and services offered. Social cohesion, solidarity, volunteerism and love, in all of their grandeur. We thank all those who contributed to the success of the organisation and the event, and hope to see everyone again next year.
