Archaeological Lecture

by The Friends of Paros

The Friends of Paros, the Archaeological Institute of Paros and Cyclades and KDEPAP are organising a lecture by archaeologist Foteini Zafeiropoulou on the subject:

“The uniqueness of the archaeological resources of Paros: the challenge of preserving and promoting them.”

on 19 April 2012 at the Archilochos Hall, Paroikia. The lecture will begin at 8pm; refreshments will be available from 7.30pm.

In 2012 the Friends of Paros (FoP) complete 10 years of continuous work for the preservation of the Cycladic character of Paros and the balanced and sustainable development of the island. The lecture by the distinguished archaeologist Dr Foteini Zafeiropoulou, who has been working in Paros since the 1960s, is an important event in this year’s calendar of activities by the FoP and aims to project the cultural assets of the island and enhance its attractiveness as a quality tourism destination.
