New Service from DEH

Enclosed with your most recent bill from DEH, the electricity company, you may have seen this leaflet. It is informing you about a new service DEH offers its customers which allows you to pay for your actual, rather than estimated, consumption of electricity every two months. If you would like to participate in this programme you simply need to inform DEH of the reading on your electricity meter either by telephone on 10410 or via their website www.dei.gr

You will need to know the following:
A. When to inform DEH - this must be done within the five day working period indicated above the table with the meter readings on the first page of your actual (ΕΚΚΑΘΑΡΙΣΤΙΚΟΣ), not estimated (ENANTI), bill.
B. The electronic payment code (ΚΩΔΙΚΟΣ ΗΛΕΚΤΡΟΝΙΚΗΣ ΠΛΗΡΩΜΗΣ) which you can find on the second page of your bill.
C. Your meter reading. First check that the supply number (ΑΡΙΘΜΟΣ ΠΑΡΟΧΗΣ) on your bill matches the number on the metal plate on your meter. Then write down the last few digits of the reading which appear in a different colour (or different frame) from the rest.

If you have a reduced night rate meter, you need to take two readings - both the K reading (regular rate) and M reading (reduced rate).
If you do not wish to participate, you do not need to do anything, and you will continue to receive the estimated bill every two months as before.
For general help in deciphering your electricity bills, see the key (in English) available at:
