Angelika Vaxevanidou
Drawing Exhibition
November 24th - 25th

An impressive collection of new drawings by Greek artist Angelika Vaxevanidou will be exhibited at the gallery in November. The exhibition is to be held over the last weekend of the month (24th-25th) and will feature a selection of works that Angelika is preparing for her solo show in Athens.

These large drawings, which are charcoal on paper, signal a natural evolution for an artist whose work has become greatly admired and viewed by many. They continue the exploration and exposure of emotions which was the main theme to Angelika’s successful summer show at the gallery and, like all evolutions, show signs of refinement, lessons learned and ideas developed.

Those of you fortunate enough to have seen her summer show “Exposing Layers” will know what skill level and artistic competence to expect from Angelika. For those not so fortunate a quick visit to the gallery website will inform you with pictures of the works from the show and an artistic statement from Angelika about her work and the essence behind it.

On Saturday 24th there will be a small opening party to give everyone the opportunity to meet Angelika, to share a glass of wine and chat with her about her work. The viewing hours will be 7.00pm until 10.00pm on both nights. Look out for the flyers around town for more details.
