If you work in a hotel in any capacity and are currently covered by IKA, you will need to change your health book to the new insurance TAXY for 2007. This is a different national insurance cover into which hotel workers now pay. Contact the IKA office for further info: 22840-21339.

The election results announced in October for Antiparos have been contested by the losing candidate (by one vote) and current President of the Community, Barbara Maneta. The Paros Magistrate’s Court is expected to made a decision in this matter sometime during the month of December.

We were sad to hear of the death of Peter Barnard who lived for many years in Drios/Golden Beach on the morning of Sunday, 19th November in hospital in Athens.
