The first official meeting of the new legalized institution of IPAC, the International Paros Art Circle, was held on Thursday, 22nd May at the Pandrossos Hotel in Paroikia. Many of the 21 founding member artists were present, together with Paros’ Mayor, Giannis Rangoussis.
The Navtikos Omilos Parou are extending their activities from teaching sailing and swimming to youngsters to include a new diving section under the direction of biologist-oceanographer Peter Nicolaides.

Representatives from the International Women’s Organization of Paros met with Paros’ Mayor Giannis Rangoussis at the end of April. Discussions with him covered a number of questions of interest to us all including: roads, community facilities, health centre, garbage, airport, library and employment.
Please be extra careful on the roads and make sure that visitors know to follow basic rules of road safety - to wear helmets, fasten seatbelts, drive slowly and not drink and drive.
Now that the summer season has started, our Health Centre Volunteer Team is again looking for volunteers from the international community to act as support/liaison persons for foreign patients.
